Part II follows scientist David James as he meets Eli–his creation and duplicate, the first human clone–for the first time, 18 years after Eli’s birth. The film navigates the inherent differences in all people, no matter how scientifically alike; as David seeks his long-delayed fame, Eli wants only to enjoy everyday anonymity.
